These are a few of my favourite things (part II)

These are from London too, but not a bargain. I love the wrap around bits and the gold buckles. From Urban Outfitters.
My accessories. I like the edginess of my studded bag without being goth or anything, from TopShop, above Incu in Sydney.  I love statement necklaces. The green one was a gift and the orange deceivingly looks like glass or stone, but is in fact plastic and 2 dollars from Diva :) The weave bag was from Byron Bay St Vinnies for 2 dollars. The wallet is from Mexico at some market, it's seeing the end of it's days but it's so beautiful.
Another bargain, this one was probably around a dollar. The lace at the bottom looks good against black jeans or a skirt.
This skirt I bought in bought on a whim from a boutique in London. It's a pretty print though and I love the circle skirt style.

My all time favourite shoes, I've had to have these re-soled, they are too good. From Wittner ages go. Best purchase. I can basically get dressed in my sleep, but if I wear these shoes, I'll still feel great.

A birthday gift, this dress has an amazing print down the front on silk. Something Else.
The newest acquisition. This high waisted bikini is a little un me - I hate the colour pink. But because it's on black, I think I can handle it. Anyways as a strong hater of bikinis, I like this one, so that's saying something. Seafolly.
Oh yes, my elbow padded blazer. I love it. Some  are not a fan of my grandpa blazer but I love wearing it over a summer dress with my boots pictured at the top. Zara.
My babys. My best friend and my boyfriend hate these shoes. (although my friend admitted they were growing on her) Not everyone's cup of tea, but I'm a firm believer in shoes making an outfit. I can wear these day or night because they aren't too high, nor are they dressy. They look good with all black or to contrast another colour. Plus they were only 15 pound from H&M.

I've posted this one recently, but it is one of my favourites now. It's by an Italian design duo Iosselliani. You may have seen some of their stuff on Bona Drag or in Incu. I recently lost a ring and I've been itching to replace it with something even better, so glad I got this, I love it.

Unfortunately I can't take all of these bits and pieces overseas with me, but I can't wait to buy some European treasures over there.

These are a few of my favourite things (part I)

Le mie cose preferite...

So I started packing for my big 1 year trip to Italy today and therefore went through my entire wardrobe. It's really hard to prioritise what to take, because I know I'll buy stuff when I'm over there/don't want to need more clothes as I arrive in Winter/don't want to ruin my good clothes/need my bag to be under the 23 kg limit! I've put together my favourite items from my wardrobe, they are my personal best of's.
My Betsey Johnson cardigan. It's nostalgic, cute and comfy.
My suede blue jacket, I love the colour and the zips make it a bit rocker. It was on sale from Urban Outfitters
I used to have a big obsession with blue birds. My mum bought me this, its little embroidered blue birds that have been sewn together, with little gaps in between each one. From Incu on sale.
My absoloute bargain find in London. 8 pounds for the suede blue skirt in a retro shop near Seven Dials.
A top I bought at a shrine market in Tokyo. Around 30$
I end up in Cheap Monday quite a bit now as I've found out I'm their female sample size, so out the back you can buy all the jeans in the one sample size for 50 dollars. I love these jeans, they are a bit weird and I was so unsure if I liked them - but now I've fallen in love and so glad I purchased them.
Another London bargain from the Brick Lane markets, 5 pounds for this.  The white bits are actually grey velvet and the black is sheer. Its a bit weird, but again I love it.

I was 'umming' and 'ahhing' over this one for a while in TopShop. Its a T-shirt, but its so great because it's silk and has all these unusual quirks about it, so glad I bought it. I wear it to death. I particularly love the subtlety of the colours and the slit on the lower back.

To be continued..

I Like Blazers

I like the deep maroon colour of the last one. Its subtle but lovely.

Still want

The perfect grandpa jumper. I spotted this jumper on JAK&JIL around this time last year - still want it. It looks incredibly comfortable.
