Flora

Flat out with commitments and may or may not have stepped on my macbook pro and cracked the screen. Not really excellent times for me at the moment, but hopefully some great and interesting outcomes from projects in the next couple of weeks.

I have been doing some research into 'Australian Christmas' for a design project and came across this, so charming. Image is via the State Library of Victoria.

Bit of A Mess

I've posted this ^ before, but I love it... I still wonder if it is real...I'd want something similar for myself if it could work. I've been told that it will become unique to not have a tattoo, which is a valid point. I know way too many people with tattoos, we're going to be the tattoo generation. But I think as a visual person, it would be nice to have my own design or artwork on my own body, trends aside.

Watercolours

Always a huge fan of watercolours - love these. I think it's the blending, seeping and merging of colours that make watercolours so rewarding and beautiful.
