Je suis désolé

So sorry for the lack of posts, my Blogger was being really silly and then I went to Paris. I just got back, and finished eating a pain au chocolat that I brought home (I may have bought more than one). Actually I freaked out that I wouldn't be able to eat any of that beautiful French food for a long time so I spent all day with food in hand! I will post photos from Paris later on if I get the chance, otherwise after I get back from Milan for Christmas.

Rooftops of Paris

I found the book 'I Tetti di Parigi' (the rooftops of Paris) in a local bookstore and was completely in awe of the intricate watercolour illustrations of Paris. So beautiful was it in its delicate depictions of Parisian architecture, something I love all too much. I could tell it was an Italian translation because the author and illustrator names were both French. I want this book so bad but unfortunatley my weight limit cannot cater for it. I'm going to explore book shops in Paris and if I come across the French version I'm going to say 'it was meant to be'.

Genova

I'm currently bathing in the goodness that is Beach House. Things are looking up, I've finished my last day at the Universita di Bologna, I'm going to Paris in less than a week, Christmas in Milan, NYE in Bologna with friends and then hooooooooooommmmeeee holy freaking crap!!! HOME, yikes.

Here are some snaps from Genova (You may have heard of it from the movie 'Genova' with Colin Firth). I had such an awesome time! Tried the local cuisine, did some sightseeing, shopping (I bought those boots) and partied at a gay club on the water!

Camogli

I took a day trip from Genova to a sweet little sea-side town called Camogli on the Ligurian Sea. It was a nice replacement for 'Cinque Terre'; seaside towns that recently got ruined in the floods that I never managed to see. We watched the sun setting, explored the small town and drank some tasty Rossini's!

Very Beautiful!

Novelty

Finally got glitter nail polish!! - I love it just by itself....but I still like plain white nails better

It's only a small detail but I like the belt buckle on the back in this photo...Might try it myself.
These jackets have been around for a while but I really like this one by Rag & Bone..It's a simple casual cool look.
Prints - you all know they are going to big.
Anyone who knows me knows I'm addicted to my denim jacket - this fluoro one intrigues me.. don't know if I could do it though... screams a bit too much for me.

Il Tramonto

Back from G-Town! Here is a lovely sunset view from the roof of my apartment block here in Bologna a couple of days ago. Actually, these photos are quite disappointing and don't do the sunset justice... the sky was a more vivid pink that clashed with the clear blue sky of the day - so beautiful!

Giardino

I'm in Genova at the moment, on the Ligurian coast of Italy visiting some friends from Sydney and having a really good time! Continuing the interior decoration of my future home in my mind.... here's the latest addition; a vertical garden!! (along with two set ups that I wish to just copy & paste...but maybe just stained wooden floors, not white-washed, that kitchen is diiiivvvinneee)

While we're here... also really love the dark wooden accents against the pale blue walls in the following pictures.. something you don't see that often...
