The Glove Compartment

Rediscovering Death Cab For Cutie, so beautiful. Here are some food photos, yum!!

Does anyone know the name of the long, twisted pastry pictured in the 2 images below? It is sprinkled with chocolate drops and maybe a thin film of custard, and then twisted into pastry glory! It is my FAVOURITE PASTRY. When I was overseas, I literally was running to catch my bus to the airport in Paris but glimpsed this pastry in a boulangerie window and quickly bought it even though I was stuffed! I also had it in Prague?

TwentyTwo

Today is my birthday, happy birthday to me :) Last night I was so happy to have my nearest and dearest with me for a couple of drinks (give or take a few) and today I got spoilt rotten by my family. Photos to come. In the mean time here are some links and images of a few things that have made me smile or inspired me...

Heavenly shots of drag racing?... no for real, beautiful!

Baby elephant on the beach :)

I'm excited to see this one, for fans of Australian cinema.

It was a big one!

Home

I really like this hat 'stand'...

 Coolest shower curtain!

 So pretentious...so good.

Got in around 8 30 pm last night. I think it feels good to be back, so far. Reality hasn't kicked in, I'm still doing the major task of unpacking. I forgot just how big my wardrobe contents is here...and then with how much I bought abroad on top; I'm ashamed. It is SO excessive I have too too much. I'm going to have to have a market stall and sell heaps of my old things because the quantity of clothing I have is a joke!
