Mardi

I had a really nice day today, despite being a bit sick. I went out to lunch with a friend to Bread & Circus which was really yum and healthy, and not to mention the cacti everywhere and other odd sorts. It is a place with lots of character without the pretentiousness (there were mothers with their young children, workers on their lunch break etc). I then drove home in the really heavy rain - which for some reason I love. I find it somewhat exhilarating and feel the normal angry/rat race vibes of driving on main roads change into this sort of communal feeling where everyone (almost) slows down and aren't mean drivers anymore haha. I also love driving through the huge puddles and all the water spurts out from the side of your car and you think your car might just float!

I then watch an episode of Girls at my friends house, it is this new television serious which is quite funny in its honesty and quirk (it also had one of the most awkward sex scenes I have ever seen and I am truly disturbed)!

Finally I came home to find my edition of the Incu magazine in then mail and then went to make myself a tea and read a book next to the window with all the rain.

PS. Remember how I loved this necklace and wanted to know where it was from? Well its bracelet version is pictured and I found both on Etsy!

Perfect!

I love this necklace... beyond. It is so simple and beautiful and I love it's placement. Anyone know who it is by?

A beautiful stranger

I bought my new glasses today, originally skeptical I now like them a lot! They're a sliiighhht cat eye and a lot rounder than my previous pair, but not overstated! On another note...I fell in love with an on sale, cheap as chips (well, not really), Dion Lee skirt in Incu today - it was too big for me and for the first time I may have wished I was a bit bigger just so I could of fitted in that skirt. Wanting to be bigger for fashion sake.... a unique occassion.

I really like this wetsuit look in swimwear at the moment, I almost bought a pair of bottoms in a similar look, but there was no matching top, which I felt it needed :(.

TVTB

So because Italy has taught me that there is a way around everything if you're an annoying little brat, no really, I used to be horrified initially at what people would do here to get their way, brutal! Yet effective... Anyway I managed to be able to enrol into French at my university! Thanks to my new pestering technique and not settling for  vagueness! I also mentioned to my family how I was thinking about saving up and returning back to Europe at the end of my degree to go study in a language school in France. They thought it was a great idea but perhaps would infringe on my graduate job opportunities...so there's talk of me going next November for a couple of months in between university years...yikes. I'm pretty damn excited!

I just watched The Kids Are Allright... damn I totally have a thing Mark Ruffalo, especially when he was younger! Here's just some miscellaneous, pretty imagery.

RITORNATA

Just returned from Berlin and Stockholm and cuff lusting so bad. Unfortunately or fortunately I went a tad crazy in Stockholm and therefore deprived myself of buying some beautiful cuffs over there. I just want to cuff my whole body, contemplating wrapping myself in al-foil and being a human cuff. Anywhoo... more posts coming soon about my adventures in Berlin and Stockholm, and if your sweet, some photos of my purchases. No promises though, because I'm off to Croatia for some beach loving on Wednesday. Ciao Ciao xx

Snow flowers and olives

As I'm sitting here watching Agora I feel like channeling the Roman Warrior in me through some bad ass cuffs. They have a pair of cuffs in gold at H&M for 3 Euros that I've been eyeing...

Cuff Love

They had gold wrist cuffs on sale at H&M a while back for only 3 Euros, might go check if they are still there now. Wish me luck x

Development

So I had a mind blank during the sales currently going on and spent a whole lot of money I don't have on a whole load of things I don't really need (Some stuff I can't even wear, i.e. suede high heels x Bologna do not mix well. Think; pebble-stone roads, pot-holes, and clubs that are known for spilling drinks left, right and centre). Although what I bought I'd had my eye on for a while, so it's worth it right? Possibly my next purchase will be one of these necklaces, they have been around for a while, but I've decided I want one now...

Badass

Remember how I posted a picture of Whitney Port with the top of her ear pierced and said I was considering getting it done.... well I got it done today! I was so scared. I had told my housemate that I was going to get it done this week, I had to, even though I was so scared. 20 minutes later and her nose piercing falls out and she can't get it back in, which meant she had to go to the piercers here in Bologna to put it back in for her, which meant it was now or never for me to get my ear done. So I sat on the back of her bike while she pedalled there, which was quite a fun/scary experience. We got there and a bit of her bike tore a hole in my favourite jeans but I was too nervous about my approaching doom to be phased by it. I got it done in the end, was not nearly as painful as I thought it was going to be, it was a bit wierd being told all the health risks and methods in Italian, but in the end it was fine. Then it decided to pour with rain and we had to bike home in the rain, we got drenched, and her bike pulled another hole in my jeans. So all in all I got 3 piercings today, 2 in my jeans, one in my ear. Best. PS def looking into buying that piercing pictured now!

Soooooo Sad

So, while I was on a train to Rimini for a wonderful day at the beach I realised that my jade bangle wasn't on my wrist anymore. Anyone who knows me well knows that I am ALWAYS wearing that bangle. I love it to bits and have been wearing it since before I was a teenager... I actually have a slight dent in my arm where it sits (sat). When I realised it was missing I basically freaked out. I must have lost it at a pool party I went to the previous week, which is odd because the bangle actually can't come off my wrist unless you pull really hard, though I was in water and this would have made it easier. I went back to the pool to ask if they had seen it but I guess it's gone. I would actually go up to the person who has my bangle and say 'I will give you my iPhone for that bangle', but I don't know who has it :( So now I'm on the hunt for something new to grace my wrist...or ear...or neck. Pretty much an excuse to go looking at accessories, a rebound accessory I guess you could say. . .

 Love this.... really love this.

Looooove this bracelet by Iosselliani, the same brand as my skull ring. I love the turquoise, and love the horse heads.

I used to layer watches all the time, mainly because I was a dork and it would remind me to give people their watches back.

The problem is that all these seem really superficial (oh, the irony of a material object itself) compared to my bangle :( x 1000.
