Japan Edits

I went ahead and edited some photographs from Japan just so I could potentially build up my portfolio...so here they are. All imagery by me.

Post Byron Edits

I've returned from a mini trip to Byron Bay and the surrounds. Whilst I did some initial edits to some photographs today, I thought I'd take the opportunity to upload some other edits too. Probably only the first and last image will make the cut.

Simultaneously vivid and muddled, I thoroughly enjoy the manipulated photography of Michael Chase.

Brain Pain

Finally bought myself a proper DSLR camera so that I can print my images A2 size or larger :) I just played around with editing today. I also retook some photos that I have used previously, just so that they are higher pixel resolution. These edits are VERY ROUGH. In fact I already want to go back and fix them all....

This poster is A2 sized so the type has gone a little weird when I've print screened it. It is part of a larger collection of images that I am hoping to expand and possibly turn into my major work. I've got to say that when I printed the poster - it came out maybe even better than it looks on screen - which is pretty damn rare!!

Visualising Research

Getting rid of this hellish project tomorrow...yesss! These are just a few print screens, I'll photograph and edit some proper images later and post them up on my portfolio!

ORIENTAL OBLIVION

I think I've spent over 10 hours on these today... bleughhh. I think they are all finished except 'the arm one' which I think needs the direction of the shadow altered.

Oriental Mysticism

I am still working on these bad boys. There are obvious differences between the lighting and colouring of the figure and background that prevents them from being merged seamlessly. Hopefully with a bit more tweaking they will look better. All images by Alyssa Anaimugan (all the locations were taken in Japan).
