Not What Seems

It is true that I miss intelligent companionship, but there are so few with whom I can share the things that mean so much to me that I have learned to contain myself. It is enough that I am surrounded with beauty.

Ophelia by Alexandre Cabanel
I don't know why, but I'm obsessed by the character Ophelia from Shakespeare's Hamlet. Probably orignally spurred by the poster for Melancholia where Kirsten is reminsicent of the famous painting of Ophelia by John Everett Millais. There's something very tragic and beautiful about her depictions.

Botany and Anatomy

Absurdly delicate and beautiful collages by Alexis Anne Mackenzie. They all spell out specific words too, which is a nice little treat if you stare at them for a while. Would love to get my hands on her sourcing materials - the images are so cool.

Nice.

Just some mostly type-based designs...simple, but good.
