So sorry for the lack of posts - still am without Internet. These are some shots of Copenhagen, a beautiful city that I really enjoyed. Even though it was quite cold, we were blessed with clear skies, postcard worthy views, ate delicious pastries, and may have jumped on a roller coaster for good measure. Next on the list: Budapest! Hopefully will be posting a bit more regularly in the next coming days as my housemate lent me her USB Internet key while she parties up a storm in Germany.

Blue
I'm without internet at the moment which is honestly killing me (I'm using my university's library at the moment). Its crazy how dependant I am on internet over here, for keeping in contact with loved ones at home, booking travels, choosing subjects, translating italian to english, study, blogging, lurking..... so hard!
How lovely is the interior of that little Nordic house...I like it more for it's structural features (lots of light & slanting walls) I could never manage white walls and floors.

To Build A Home
Feels like I've brought the cold back from Switzerland with me, Bologna is finally cooling down - a little too quickly though. I went to Lugano in Switzerland which was very beautiful, it was also great to catch up with friends that I haven't seen in a while. It was strange because everyone spoke Italian in the part of Italy we visited - so it didn't feel all that different or foreign, granted it was cleaner. However on the last morning, following a freezing last night, all these mountains were snow capped surrounding the lake and it very much felt like I was in Switzerland, a great way to end a small trip!

Devastated
I miss Jak & Jil... how could they do a re-design of the website during fashion weeks... It's for the best I guess. Arghhh.
On another disappointing note is Kanye West's fashion collection - for me, it just didn't hit the mark and I was expecting so much more. However, here are some of what I think, are the better looks.

^^^ I do like these shoes, in the black as well.

Switzerland
I'm off to Switzerland on Friday just for the weekend with a few friends I haven't seen in months, the best bit is it's just a short train ride - a train ride! The Pros of living in Europe. Here are some lovely things & a song I really dig at the moment. Happy Wednesday x

New Favourite Blog
Design*Sponge. It has been around for ages but I've only just given it the time of day after The Satorialist mentions it as one of his initial inspirations. It is so amazing. I'm big on how blogs are designed and easily read - this one is perfect, and its content is so what I'm really into at the moment - interior design, homes in particular. There are many sections to the blog but my favourite is 'Sneak Peak', where Grace Bonney goes into the houses of people and photographs their home. I love it because these homes are real homes - people live in them - there are no excessive, cold, display homes.
The perfect shade & type of wooden floorboards, but I was disapointed to fin out that they stain easily and are not very user friendly - grr.

That kitchen wash basin is amazing.
